Status Updates From These Violent Delights

Ok this is finally starting to pick up! I was considering dnf-ing for a bit because the first couple hundred pages were very slow paced. Whilst I normally can enjoy a book where nothing really happens, it was clear that something was building up but it was taking a bit long to get there and it was taking me so long to read.
