That's the first of 5 novels in this book and while it was engaging, I found the politics of it to be nonsense. Apparently, communism is a cult and also the same as Nazism and anyone who believes in it is brainwashed. The answer to all our worldly problems is WW3, which will decimate the population enough that we can rebuild a better society, since fewer people will be able to really have empathy for each other. Uh.
