Gave this one another shot, many months after putting it away because of needlessly graphic descriptions of what happened to the inhabitants of an abbey... Only to now read a chapter in which the discourse seems to be mild for people destroying railroad networks and harsh on the public body having to currently manage said railroads. The ignorance is painful. I'll give it one more try but then I give up!
