Why do authors create supposedly "smart" female characters and the make them do really dumb things? There are other ways to get to the climax scenes. Alicia was barely holding my attention as a likeable character. Not clear why Quinn was enchanted. Then she does stupid stuff. Ms. Saffire, develop your characters and plot better! 2.5 stars.
