Goodreads keeps asking me to update my progress on medical reference tomes as if they were books someone sits down and just reads for fun. I suppose some people do, but you won't see them at any of my parties. I only read these damn things cover to cover in school because I HAD to! The only reference tome that I ever read like a regular book was the Encyclopedia Britannica, skipping anything that didn't interest me.
