Cliff Davenport seems to have respecc’ed from botanist into marine biologist mid-book. Which I suppose is good for what he’s up against but it was a bit sudden.

Reading along with the 372 Pages podcast. This is certainly a pulp horror book. It is truly hard to tell whether the writer knows what he’s doing or not in terms of the silliness of tone. But it’s a step up from Ugly Love for sure.
