Interesting and obvious that Lebanon got special treatment from the French as the only post WWI Arab nation to be Christian.
Also interesting that “the Greater Lebanon” only lasted six years.

So far chapter 1 has been all about the League of Nations and chapter 2 has been broad wide scope history on the Ottoman Empire’s relationship with France pre-WWI. It’s all a little too broad for me. What I’m really wanting to find out is what life was like for someone in the part of French Occupied Assyria in the 1930s. Get specific!
