Status Updates From Pinocchio

So... Gets Gepetto jailed, kills the Cricket with a hammer, burns off his own feet, sells the school book G sold his coat to pay for and is about to be used as firewood by the fanged, coal eyed Director of the Marronette show. Oh and the comedia dell'arte characters of the show recognize Pinocchio on sight and call him by his name. Okay.

'In the Lives of Puppets' by TL Klune made me curious, so I found this on Project Gutenburg. Have a feeling the tone (and view of humanity) might be a little different.
