finished the underground, started the gambler. i did not retain a single thing from the first part of the underground, it was a literal stream of consciousness that made absolutely zero sense to me, but oh well!

Just finished the novella from Notes from the Underground in basically two sittings I absolutely loved it! What a writer! His style definitely gave me vibes resembling The Picture of Dorian Gray, which is my favourite book of all time. So clearly and crisp, so full of meaning and deep thought. I am pretty certain that I will finish The Gambler just as quickly.
