I'm actually in a contemporary romance mood for once but it's so difficult to find good ones

his rude dialogue isn't quite hitting it for me

I'm liking the beginning a lot

Like that the heroine is tall

Like that the hero is blonde

Like how the author has the heroine describing her attraction to the MMC, like his broad shoulders, his adam's apple, his laugh - the author is avoiding the obnoxious 'he's an alpha man' descriptions that I'm tired of

oh, and like that the mmc is not a billionaire

I like the set up. Young(ish) attorney with his shit together and a younger, slightly out of control wedding photographer.

...though I just learned this is another single dad story. Gosh, I seem to not be able to get away from dads in romance right now. And I can tell where this is going and it looks to be emotional. I was hoping this would stay light-hearted and fun.

I LOVE IT! But work kept me away from reading! Ugh!
