Sadie Forsythe is 40% done

I think I've been caught in the 'book one is not the first book' trap again, because I am almost halfway through this book and I am still so confused. And I just read the blurb on the prequel and it looks like something I NEEDED to read to understand this book.

This makes me so angry.

If the prequel has to be read for book one to make sense than it's not a prequel IT IS BOOK ONE.
