Oh my brain, my brain, my brain! (laugh)

I am getting WAY too involved in this torrid, angsty story and rather than wrapping it up, even more chapters have managed to worm their way in!

Oh but they are JUICY! So, so juicy and I thus I simply can not resist. Unfortunately, this is going to put me behind another 2 weeks.

Ok, So I'm back at work...AGAIN and likely to finish this month (though I'll have to let it marinate for a couple of weeks afterwards for the purposes of editing and deciding if I like it as is).

8x11.5 pages.

This has been a super frustrating week as I've severely injured my right index finger. Typing (pecking) is slow, frustrating and full of typos. In short, my typing can't keep up with my brain and handwriting is impossible and illegible in this finger splint. (sad face)

Progress has ground to a halt.

32,334 words as of today and still growing.

I am currently 17,889 words in (according to Word Count). I am also quite enjoying the writing of this novel.

That being said, it will likely be completed and released WAY before November (assuming no unforeseen setbacks as I am a fairly quick writer when I focus on a work).

Will this be a monster novel like the Rebellion books were?

I don't know.

I simply make each book as long as it needs to be.

Ok. So I've been hanging out in horror/fantasy land for quite a while now.

As I have some directional considerations I'm still working on with The Pack 2, I've decided to switch gears and work on this book instead - whose entire series is largely written in my head.

Having done the unthinkable, Xian finds herself in an impossible situation.
