I don't know how I feel. Rogan just spent forever being an intentional jerk and now he is flipping the script to "let's be besties". It's kind of annoying. I know the curse says he has to mature, but sometimes a good throat punch can be helpful.

I'm withholding final judgement until the end. I never know how things will go with Meghan Quinn's books. So far, I am enjoying the storyline. However, Rogan is a total jerk at this point, and I feel bad for Harper. Is this going to be a, "I'm going to pick on you until you like me again" type of thing?

oh absolutely not. this just finished off his whole character. i could never root for him after that oh my god. bless my girl harper because that is so unbelievably cruel 😭

So far I am enjoying this book. I like the flashbacks and how they are breadcrumbing what led to the fallout.

I'm torn. Meghan Quinn's books are hit or miss with me. I usually love the setup of her books and even the characters, but in my opinion, many of the ones I have read have had rushed and either unsatisfying or frustrating endings (i.e., book 1)
