You know how Manacled is like THE fanfic for Dramione? This is THE fanfic for Reylo. Perfection. The attention to detail to Star Wars lore. The research. The story telling. The writing. 10/10 no notes. One of my favorite reads of the year and so sad it’s over.

Reading this fic puts the hurricane wars into perspective because I believe this was way too embedded in the Star Wars universe to stand on its own.

The author is so talented …but it’s like no wonder I was confused asf reading THW. The DNA of this fic is a love letter to SW

Will def read original future works from her, but after this 1,000+ pager i’m hanging up my Reylo jersey for now. Sheesh!

Reading an *actual* fan fiction epilogue highlights how that last Kate Daniel’s book was just an extended fan-fiction epilogue

I mean this fic did a much much better job of exploring the force bound than that horrible last movie in the trilogy

As with the movies, my interest levels of the pew pew spaceship fighting stuff is lacking

I liked it in red rising but so many terms to parse through in this

This is taking me forever to read but I’m going to try my best to finish so I can start alchemized or literally any other book at this point

The character development for Rey at the end and this heroes journey / everything with her grandmother is stupendous. But all the side characters povs you need a deeper understanding of SW to know wth is going on

Idk some of the stuff poppin off now feels a little unsupported by the way she built up the politics in the universe so far and it’s making me feel like I’m missing something

So I have etiquette and I don’t rate fanfiction obvs, but something got lost for me in between when he told Rey to come up with a counter proposal for the draconian law, them fighting, her becoming queen and then doing a full covert resistance mission and then now back with her mom’s people.

The political machinations behind the war would probably make sense if I was more knowledge about the SW universe.
