Status Updates From Aurora's Angel

This book started off so great and is setting up interesting things that make me want to finish it. But I think I might DNF. Aurora’s main goal was already fulfilled and all that’s left is to get Evie home, which there is no rush for. Why is this book so long?

Still no sign of another plot being introduced so I’m still kind of bored. Plus I hate how much Evie and Aurora over communicate. I’m not sure how to describe it but a lot of their conversations are so long and so over done almost like they are therapizing each other and not really bonding with each other. It’s weird

Im getting really close to dnf ing this thing. On top of the unrealistic and lengthy sialogue and absence of commas, I now have to deal with Aurora being a musical self taught genius who can learn how to play like a master by just listening? And a few textbooks? Oh god

I keep thinking that I’m almost done with this book, because they made it to their main destination, and haven’t really introduced any other plot point to worry about. So I’m a little confused about where this story is going
