This book gives a helpful, spatial framing of sexual orientation and race- through the questions of: what do we turn towards, what do we align with, what is behind us, and what we are seeking to extend in our conceptions of sexuality, inheritance, family, and race (in that order).

This is like Adrienne Rich’s Compulsory Heterosexuality but more discursive
