Funny to see wellness nonsense and beautiful auras mentioned in a book from 1910 (but it was the era of Theosophy, why shouldn’t it also be the era of bodybuilding dishes)

Forster wasn’t from Coventry but he spent the last nine years of his life living in Cheylesmore so kind of close enough.

In my head this is twinned with ‘Brideshead Revisited’; let’s see if I feel the same once I’ve read it.
