I understand why the quote on the front says this is like a puzzle box. Everyone in this book talks except the main character. And there are no descriptions. It's just people talking at the character (which makes it feel like they're talking at you). One per chapter, to keep it simple. What do they talk about? The past. Why? I'm not sure.
