Status Updates From The English Air

I’ve been remarkably lucky lately in that I’ve run into a few not-well-known older books that have characters and plot pieces and situations extremely similar to what I experienced a few years prior, and it’s incredibly comforting.

Poor Frantz. He’s so very German, and I’m so very frustrated on his behalf — it really is incredibly annoying when people don’t say what they mean.

I sympathize very deeply with the poor German man in this story who does not understand the relaxed and chatty ways of the English.
