This was good. Helpful. Thought- and spirit-provoking. I have lots I could say, and I have a lot of questions. But I’m content with my dog-eared copy being laid to rest a while.

I think the best part of this book, which I don’t remember The Pastor ever mentioning (though it’s been six years), is the coverage of Eugene’s wrestling with vocation and ambition. It was also an eye opener that he basically stumbled into a very unique pastoral opportunity—basically no administration responsibilities.
