This book isn't interesting to me. I couldn't find the plot. I didn't finish the book.

This book is beyond wonderful!! Anyone who is looking for meaning in life, students of philosophy, politcs, social reform... read this. By not naming, the author makes his insights universal. If anyone has summed up the great global philosophers, starting with Socrates and ending with contemporary observations and issues, it is Muhn Sign. It is not a fast read. Regardless of education level, an elightening read!

"The progress of Magnastu, the modern society, is measured only by vanity and its incremental interests."
[magna stu= Latin, 'large study']

"This may seem terribly silly to you, but think for a moment, my good fellow. How superfluous the luxury of the city, its artificial conventions and its false notions of progress, where everything is measured by precious metals and legal tender!"

FYI: Couldn't wait for the #GoodreadsGiveaway on this one. Purchased digital on Amazon and bought 2 paperbacks. Will probably buy more as gifts. Hoping hardcopies come out soon!

Study the cover. Just study the cover. Then read the synopsis. Imagine Banksy in written form. I have chills after the first 2 pages! All the imagination and angst of Kafka, but with heart-wrenchly simple, beautiful prose. So many working metaphors weaving in and out~ This is my greatest find and I'm just getting started!
