Status Updates From The Lost Tale of Sir Larpsalot

This is constantly reminding me that I should read more fantasy books, especially because I have barely read any this year.

The group of kids head to OMG's house, where they find Jabber (Asher's dog). OMG sees them at his door and he invites them in. He mentions something about Asher and that going to other worlds is hard. The kids leave only to be trapped in a lightning storm and tornado. They wake up to be in a whole new place (that is unrecognizable). They have found some clues of Asher's stuff. Jon said that they are in a new world.

A group of kids play a game similar to Dungeons and Dragons. After they finish their quest, Asher the game master, goes missing in his family's woods. The next day, the group goes back out to try and find him.

unexpected twist at the end which didn't make sense with OMG being a real man in the real world that can do magic.

I liked how they all got together one last time to larp before they went their separate ways.

So Far it is a good book and well written. I think that Asher will be found in their fantasy world as a real world.
