Status Updates From Apuntes de un cocodrilo

Notebook 2 having references to the film adaptations of Valley of the Dolls and Chronicle of a Death Foretold is so funny to me. For the former, the movie sanitizes all queer and scandalous elements of the original novel. Both (I’ve only read the original Spanish novella for the latter) include characters slurring a man for his personal style. Miaojin gives a lot to think about as a launching pad for the themes!
