Status Updates From The Fall

I enjoy it when older books, like this one from 1956, make predictions about the future that later. I especially enjoyed this aspect of the book because it was written by a foreign author was making predictions about my own country, the Netherlands. I also found it funny how some things have changed, in the book “the dutch” are described as people who take their time and are not modern compered to the french.

Just started this, I had found the it with another book in a box on the street in the upper Haight in SF. I been thinking I should read all of Camus's books, and there it was! A Camus book I had not heard of, so I took it to read. Starting off, very mysterious, a single-narrator rant, similar to the Beckett novels I read a month earlier. Will be attentive to parallels.
