Status Updates From Don't Ask Me Where I'm From

I am n page 102-103 and Liliana finds some friends of her own and they start to hang out and get to know each other more and where everybody s from and their race and heritage.

I am currently on page 58-59 and she is at METCO and she is trying to make new friends. She met this girl at METCO that is class president and isn't what Liliana thought she was. She was a little troubled but seemed really interested of being Liliana's friend. Liliana is in the process of trying to fit in but everybody keeps calling her weird. But her mom got her a new phone so at least she can talk to her mom.

This is book is really good, this is probably like the second book in all my high school life that I really love. A girl named Liliana is a Hispanic girl with a Mexican household and her dad would constantly leave to Mexico. And the one time he left he never returned again. With a rocky relationship with her mother. She tries not to stress her mom out while dealing with the grief of her father leaving.
