Status Updates From Fianna the Gold (Shift #1)

Started promising but got silly. Phrase "Sister self"? drove me crazy. Attempt to make sure there are no plot holes is weirdly distracting. Always explanation for this or that, from clothes to cars and magic like duct tape -- needed some subtlety. Abbie and Fianna relationship is...? I did imagine vegetarians using their kindles for kindling. haha. Not all bad, younger, less cranky me would probably like this book.

Hopes aren't high with first few lines that seemed like immature teen-ish banter. Giving book a chance though -- picked it over a well-received book written in first person. It's fantasy. It's shifters. Hoping to get sucked into this world.
