Status Updates From Laughter at the Academy

Homecoming…this was fantastic! What happens to those who die valiantly? Well, they play and get their final reward.

Emeralds to Emeralds, Dust to Dust…this one is my favorite so far! I love Oz retellings and this was sooo much fun! A murder mystery, interesting histories, and naughty Munchkins!

Crystal Halloway and the Forgotten Passageway…hated this story! Not because of the writing, but because of the subjects. It’s sooo sad and so true…we adults lose that magic. And it sucks!

Uncle Sam was horrifying…and scary…and makes me creeped out at being alone in the bathroom right now in my tub.

The Tolling of Pavkov’s Bells…this one was sadly realistic. And insane. And I can totally see a scientist doing this. Let’s hope that it never comes true.

Lost…a retelling of Pied Piper and Peter Pan. Melancholic, sweet, and strange. Just like Seanan.

“A Field Study”…weird and very Frankenstein-esque.

Okay, I'm gonna need a full length novel with the Oz characters please and thank you.

I'm not usually a fan of short story collections but I adore this author and so far I am adoring this book!
