Status Updates From One Writer's Beginnings

There is something about Eudora Welty that just makes me want to read all day. This book is just as I thought it would be transformative, and such a deeply personal experience to read. She talks a little about writing Why I live at the P.O and that was when I was originally introduced to her writing. I love her much more than I did at that time.

The introduction says “I did not have the opportunity to meet Miss Welty in person, and yet I feel a kind of intimacy meeting her in her words,” and as a Welty fan I could agree more.
