Status Updates From The Ambassadors

The chapters uptill now have a melancholy feel to them.

My first ever novel by Henry James and I admit I was a bit unsure of what was happening as I begun with the novel because it feels like you have landed in the middle of the story rather than the beginning. But I read someone say that HJ likes to set the theme of the novel first so I am trusting the process. So far I am intrigued.

Amazing how there is no action(I mean they talk and walk and talk some more) and yet it's so damn interesting.
