Status Updates From Evie Interrupted

I’m so bored. The “memories” are a waste of pages so I just don’t read those chapters anymore. It sucks about her mom. My dad had Alzheimer’s and some of it is hitting home, but, not to be a jerk, i want a love story, not a depressing one. I’m trying to get through it though.

This book was so beautiful. As someone who works in aged care, I could relate to so much of this read and could see the difficulties that Evie faced, but could not imagine doing so by yourself.
I loved Butler right from the beginning, how he was just as taken by Evie as she was by him. The way they both fumbled at times, and how quickly they fell. Maine was amazing support, and was always pushing Evie a little more
