started reading on 2/22 (gen's bday) and finished on 3/14 (gen's day of passing). totally by chance, stunned into immobility when i realized. this book helped me to feel less alone on earth and coincided with a great creative renaissance in my life. i'm thankful for the experience and for feeling connected to humanity through gen's retelling of their existence
