250 more pages! This book is really good but it’s kind of a slog at 1000 pages. I feel like we may be approaching some pay off for the meticulously done worldbuilding and character growth (mostly physical abilities). Still enjoy Tavi, probably my favorite of the three protagonists. Very interesting ideas with the Hero/Legend bit.

I’ve had this book for a while (got for free) and just picked it up on a whim. I finished Part 1 of 5 and I have to say I’m really feeling the work this author put into the worldbuilding. Very natural and you can tell there’s a lot there and we just scratched the surface. Also enjoying Tavi who is a refreshing take on the naive young warrior.

Wow. What an ending to part 1! Loving this so far.
