2nd the introduction of an animal—which was never in the series before, which historically has been used to describe black people is the villain. 3rd said animal “thinks he’s human” and looks very silly pretending to be/if not idiotic.
I do not appreciate nor like this revelation and am continuing to read and bringing my complaints concerns anger to God. I still want to find joy in this series.

I’ve come to realize that though C.S. Lewis was a great theologian, during whatever period it was that he wrote this series there are undertones of racism. I do not profess to know his heart. Only what I observe.
1st Narnians are of pale complexion vs. brutish hard hearted men (Calomenes) are darker skinned.
