Status Updates From A Girl Is a Body of Water

I realised that the novel expects me to know things about Ugandan history that I know... not very much about (most of what I know is b/c of mayor Mamdani). Which is probably why this last bit, which is set further back in the past and therefore does a bit more world building feels more inviting.

I've been having a bit of a slump, starting books and really not feeling it. But this has me intrigued.
