When an animal has difficulty [emot’l or physical], it’s usually trying to say something about the person’s overall life situation. Each animal has its own reason for incarnating, its own path of learning, but on a soul level they all come to show us something very profound about ourselves. They draw attention to things. As they help us, they also grow/evolve on that level, so it’s a real symbiotic thing.
