Not a satisfying book, actually. Considering that in an earlier book, HG was perfectly willing to cover up premeditated murder, it just sits poorly with me that she's so actively pursuing the death of someone who, by all accounts, was one of the worst examples of the human race. Even his mother is involved, seemingly, in protecting the person who did it. 🙄

I'm enjoying this series, for the most part, but these books miss the mark, partly because of sloppiness. I'm listening to the audiobooks, so it's not always clear if it's the fault of the narrator or the author. Once in this book, the wrong name is used. The author overuses "Hillary swept on", "H blinked", "H sighed". Other poorly edited mistakes, too. It would be worth cleaning these up.
