Status Updates From Adventures in Fatherhood: A...

I suppose admitting to some embarrassing shortcomings in your life as a dad can function as a form of witness, but sometimes the conclusion/devotional seems a bit contrived.

Still lots of fun...the speech impediment CD story was a good laugh.

Some of the stories used to introduce the devotional topic are kinda graspjng-at-straws as to relevance. Still interesting anecdotes on their own, though.

So apparently it took the author(s) fourteen years of trying before getting this book published...a lot to be said about perseverance.

Only a few pages in, and loving the simplicity and directness of each devotional. I can already tell I'll be rereading this multiple times!
