Status Updates From Silver Sparrow

Tayari Jones is so talented, but this book isn’t doing it for me. The writing just feels a little juvenile, like I’m reading YA. Leaving Atlanta was YA, so I was ready for it, but I think it was a lot stronger right from the start. I’ll definitely give another Jones a try (I’m excited to check out Kin), I just think maybe this book isn’t for me.
