The first chapter was lovely, I loved having a glimpse of Bill again,
'She had said she would return, and Bill had been waiting ever since.' Loved it!
The author making Ottilie repeat everything that happened in the first book was infuriating, tacky and boring. If the reader didn't read the books in order or forgot, that's their own fault. It spoiled the 2nd chapter.
