Status Updates From Post Office

Set by book club. I would prefer to read contemporary work. The club thinks we should read 'classics' by stale white males. Of course there is value in them, but in catching up with classics I haven't read, I'm spending my limited time and therefore missing modern thought and not supporting contemporary writers. It's a choice, like f - we have to lean in, and accept what we don't like, in order to enjoy what we like.
