Status Updates From The Book of Lamps and Banne...

Been enjoying this series a lot (any book with the central concept of "what if there was some art but it was Fucked Up and Scary" tends to grab my interest) but the Simpsons-style sliding time scale is a bit distracting, esp. given the series has been published over the course of 10+ years. The whole series ostensibly takes place within a couple of weeks but Book 1 is set at the end of 2007 and Book 4 mentions COVID.
