Status Updates From Farm Girl: A Wisconsin Memoir

I need to focus on this book more because I do enjoy it! Been pushing it aside a bit lately and there is no reason for it. Read a bunch last night and really like the stories the author tells of her childhood!

3.5-4. A sweet book of the struggle, but great joy and gratitude, that one farm family endured during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl. This book felt a lot like sitting with a woman from a time long gone and hearing the stories of her youth. This is the importance of writing and of books—Encapsulating the past so we can all benefit, learn, and grow.
