The Crowned Ones- I LOVED this, this is absolutely my vibe!!
Gap- I liked this one, though it didn't feel as impactful as some of the others
New Blood- trans vampires!! At least I think vampires, but definitely trans!!
Until One Day-this one was so sweet 🥺🥺

Sunken Scream-I called the twist, but honestly I still really liked this one
Slow Orbit-I also liked this one a lot!! LISTEN, ghost-human romance is always gonna get me!
A Certain Tea House-Very good, very sad, but very good

@LissaTruLuv-I really liked this one, I thought the inclusion of the streaming chat was really interesting, to get other people's perspective
The Lichtenberg Lady-Eerie but also sweet? I liked the ending
Ghosting-I really, really liked this one. Soft, sweet, music-centered, just so good

Bloody Mary and the Smart Mirror futuristic twist on the classic children's game (folk lore? Whatever you would call Bloody Mary).
Home was extremely bittersweet.
Under the Bed was sooooo good. To be fair, I am a HUGE fan of Cameron Lucente, the writer and artist behind this one, and I actually remember him promoting this one on socials before, but I didn't realize it was in this anthology!!! SO GOOD!

3 stories in and I liked Ghost Planet, Glasshouse was very poignant, and In the Shadow of the Moon is absolutely my favorite thus far

Another hoopla find. I have been in a spooky mood, so I checked out a few spooky-looking graphic novels. This one is an anthology, so I'm excited to see if I find any new favorite comic creators!!

The last story is my favorite!!! All the stories are wonderful but I think some leave a bit to be desired in their endings. Don’t get me wrong, I love an ambiguous ending, but there are a few stories in this collection that leave me feeling more like the story was left unfinished. Still a fantastic collection. 6/10

Another example of beautiful art mixed with stunning stories. There are a couple that I’m not sure I 100% “get” but maybe that’s the point.

I love the stories. They’re really short but the set is GORGEOUS and the briefness of the stories only seems to add to the overall experience. Definitely a book I will read again and again.
