Status Updates From Fire Summer

Really enjoying this book so far! There so much Vietnamese history and cultural snippets woven into the storyline and characters. The only thing is that there are a few phrases in Vietnamese that I don’t understand - even with using a translating app. I wish there was a glossary or notes included with the book for non-speakers.

Closing in on the ending, really curious to see how this wraps up.

I was convinced I'd read the recommended on some year ends lists from 2019. Now I'm pretty sure I didn't. That being said, so far it's shaping up to at least be interesting, so let's see how it goes.
