The dramatic development du jour is that he doesn't have clean underwear.... Oh, the horror! Seriously, this is what passes for plot? Yet maybe it's better than watching the narrator perv on his roommate and stalk him like a serial killer-in-training. And somehow this is supposed to be a romance? I swear this book is yearning for a place on my "This is ridiculous" shelf.

I didn't read it [the Epilogue] only because from what I know happened, I'll only get FUCKING PISSED at Kurt's previous partner, Benji, and besides, it's in the past. I don't want to know about that fucking douchebag and how he hurt Kurt (but that's just me)!!! I want to focus on Kurt's glorious future with Jake :-)!!

// ... there is a short story about what happened with Kurt and his previous work partner two years prior, that had a significantly negative impact on Kurt at the time. This was eluded to throughout the book and I'm sure others will enjoy the story.

// Okay so the Epilogue was great and serves as a wonderful setup for the next book, that I'm about to start in short order here. It really doesn't bother me that the book ended here because this story was SO jam-packed, that it felt like it naturally ended here, and it WAS a long book (which we all know I love and adore).

// Whaaat? It can't be over :-/! But don't worry guys, there seems to be a juicy Epilogue :-)!!
*** The ending is a wonderful HFN, but like I said, the Epilogue is here ... so hopefully, it'll give us something dreamy to hold onto until the next book. I have it on good authority that the books are explicitly continuous, so I'm not concerned.
