Status Updates From Invisible Cities

This is a dense book to slowly savor. I find myself rereading the last 2 sections to better grasp what I’ve been reading every time I want to proceed to the next one. I’m glad I waited until now to read it though, as I think much of its meaning would have escaped me before recent travels. (Or I would derive less meaning from it.)

I love a khan of khans and some maps of the imagination. I have hopes this one will help with crafting settings. Architectural description, purpose of visualization, and directionally themed adjectives are of particular interest.

esta fue la ciudad de zobeida donde se establecieron esperando que una noche se repitiese aquella escena. ninguno de ellos, ni en el sueño ni en la vigilia, vio nunca más a la mujer. las calles de la ciudad eran las que recorrían todos los días para ir al trabajo, sin ninguna relación ya con la persecución soñada. que por lo demás hacía tiempo que estaba olvidada.
