The mythology in this book seems so interesting, but unfortunately the writing style is not to my taste, and it's really hard to read right now. So, I actuaally think I'm going to dnf it....

tbh i low-key hate how people who are homeless in the PNW are talked about in this story. like i think the vampires are very cool but also i feel like homeless people are treated as only plot points and victims of these murders, & the narrative distances us from the victims and points us to care more about aswang interactions. maybe this will change, idk
