Status Updates From Intentionality (Volume 0)

I'm sympathetic to a lot of Searle's account, but making a number of marks about where I think he might just be straightforwardly wrong, especially about perception.

I suppose technically this is a re-read but it has been years, so I'm treating it like its the first time through.

Not a book to be dipped into. This book attempts to deduce how the mind works, in the light of neuroscience but using philosophical logic. In places formal logic. It will be a major test of the theory underlying "Intentionality" when the current Brain Activity Map - said to rival the human genome project in its ramifications starts to publish its research.
