Chandra is so badass. She’s an acquired taste, but I like her.

It picked up, thank goodness. Unless the ending is badly fumbled, I’ll probably buy the sequel if it’s still on sale.

literally 12 minutes into the audiobook but like this guy! there's a woman here alone with a little boy, you're acting like a creep and because she's getting nervous you just automatically think she's supernatural?! (Okay you got it right this time, but I'm not a supe and i'd still be trying to get you away from me and the kid)
