I have been such a lifelong student of music, but always more organically and just through aware listening.
Finally taking piano lessons to marry my trained ear for harmony, my natural rhythm (have played drums mostly) and it so this book is really speaking to me. Especially as someone who understands not to be too mired in theory, restricted by how western music has adapted the keyboard (and scales, pitches).
